Lars Mikkelsen-1Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen was born 6 May 1964. He has played Troels Hartmann (Copenhagen mayoral election candidate) in The Killing and [1] Charles Augustus Magnussen (third series of Sherlock) as well as the Russian president Viktor Petrov on Netflix's American House of Cards, and Grand Admiral Thrawn from Star Wars Rebels. He was awarded the Reumert Prize of Honour in 2011 at the age of 27. In 1995, he was accepted to the National Theatre School of Denmark. Apart from his role in The Killing, [1] He also appeared in Borgen III, a Danish drama series that was critically and critically acclaimed. He also had a prominent role in an episode of the BBC drama Sherlock as blackmailer Charles Augustus Magnussen.In the American television series House of Cards, he was the role of President Russia. In 2018, he received an International Emmy Award. His performance in the Danish television drama Herrens Veje earned him an International Emmy Award. The show aired in the UK in 2019, as Ride Upon the Storm.
