StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her breakout role came in the 2011 Mexican crime-drama film Miss Bala. Also, she was in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman was a prominent character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both of the series. Sigman was the daughter of a Mexican mother, as well as an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas) as well as a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas, who were both born in Ciudad Obregon. She is a citizen of the United States through her father. [2][3][4] She's an U.S. citizen through her father. His brother is a baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman married actress Barbara Mori Sigman. Before making her film debut at Rio de Oro, she started her career as a Mexican TV actress. In 2011 she was cast in the lead part in the film Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film, Miss Bala. [6] The film was selected as the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8The film, however, did not make the cut. 9 Sigman was awarded the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award in recognition of her work as film critic in 2011. In 2010, she starred in the Canadian documentary, Flight of the Butterflies the following year. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer which was the Norwegian thriller.
